imaging modality that utilises ultrasonic sound waves to assess soft tissues, cartilage, bone surfaces, and
fluid containing structures, and using colour or power Doppler to assess the flow of fluid underneath the probe. There is a global booming of using MSKUS in assisting diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal problems in musculoskeletal (MSK) Medicine, sports medicine, orthopaedic, rheumatology, pain clinics and in other ambulatory and emergency settings.
